Can't copy files into linked folders

Hello, I’m testing Fontbase on my new Mac Studio. I wish to add watched folder from my external drive. I added a few folders yet, most folders not, the message “can’t copy files into linked folders” appears.
Please what can I check to fix it?

Hello @theant, thank you for the post and welcome to the forum :pray:
As the warning message says, you can’t “can’t copy files into linked folders”.
In other words, if you add a watched folder into FontBase, you cannot add another watched folder inside of it via the usual in-app methods. An alternative would be to add the other watched folder to the root level, i.e. if you have watchedFolder1 and want to add watchedFolder2, you can add watchedFolder2 to the same level or folder and watchedFolder1, not inside of it.
Does this make sense?
