found the issue, super strange. illustrator was open. I closed it and then installer runs fine. Thats some weird behavior if you ask me. Does FontBase run some hidden background processes?
PS what is this very very annoying issue with posting. I need to randomly wait 10-30 minutes for a post?! Thats gotta to be the most crappy implementation against spam

Not sure of what the cause was with the Illustrator, but glad to hear it was resolved
FontBase includes several processes, all of which can be viewed via the Task Manager, is this what you mean by “hidden”?
As for the post delay - can’t say for certain, could be a platform issue, sorry about that
