I am using 2.16.9 on a Windows 10 machine and I’m trying to add my system font folder to be watched (plain old C:\Windows\Fonts) but when I try to add it as a folder it says “The folder name is not valid”. Am I not able to add or watch the system fonts folder, or is this a bug?
Yes, you will not be able to add the system font folder as a watched folder. Mainly because it is a system folder, but also because you will not be able to activate/deactivate the installed fonts.
If you want to manage these fonts with FontBase, you will need to copy the files manually to FontBase root, and then uninstall the fonts from your system.
Got it, thanks for your response, Dominik!
