Error when Launching Illustrator (Windows Current Version)

Hi,

I get the following error after installing Fontbase and launching adobe illustrator.

Is there any good advice on how to fix this error?

Hello @Dan-Gwalter, thank you for the post and welcome to the forum:)
Could you try removing the old plugin files in the Illustrator folder and re-installing them from FontBase?
The path to the plugin folder should be in the Settings page in the Plugins section.

Hi and thanks for your reply,

I located the extensis folder in the illustrator plugins directory and deleted it. I then removed it from the settings page in fontbase.

next I reselected the illustrator plugins folder in fontbase and waited for the process to finish before restarting illustrator.

same error message Iā€™m afraid.

Hi

Maybe you have to deactivate the extensis plugin in your Illustrator app or something around it? Deleting the folder is probably not enough ā€¦ In the past I deinstalled Extensis completely before installing another font management and had no such problem.
