I changed the root folder to another drive to save space on C, but the new folder only has the Providers folder in it - and this only showed up after I activated all Google fonts in the app.
The rest of my sub-folders and fonts are still in the old location, which is still taking up space. There is no feedback from the app that a transfer is taking place. How can I fix this?
Hello @ThePec, thank you for your post and welcome to the forum
Hm, this definitely shouldn’t happen normally.
Will need a bit more info to figure out what’s going on:
Is the new location on a local drive as well?
Does it have enough free space to copy all the content of the old root folder?
Hi Yuriy, the new location is on local drive and there is plenty of space.
I got around the problem by moving the folders manually, just cutting and pasting. But I assume the process was meant to be automated?
Thank you @ThePec for the quick reply and the additional info
Your assumption is correct, hence those questions above to better understand what went wrong.
Would you happen to remember if there was already a folder titled “FontBase” present in the directory you were moving the root folder to?
