I use Fontbase in two Windows computers: Home and Office.
In my office computer, I’m able to see 7340 fonts in the Providers>Google section.
In my home computer, I’m able to see 3795 of them.
Yesterday, I tried to check if this was a problem with automatic updating (that is activated in both computers), then I uninstalled FontBase from my home PC and reinstalled it. The result was the same. I’m still unable to see the full extension of Google Fonts in one of my computers.
Further on the matter. I suggested a friend of mine to install FontBase too, and we could see. My friend got 5213 fonts. It’s the third different number. How is this integration supposed to work?
I’m not able to locate fonts I have chosen from the Google Font website either - so the sync is definitely not the latest.
What I have done as a workaround is download the latest font files from Google via github, saved the files in the FB provider folder and it links back to the Provider folders in FB dashboard. All are at least available from date of download. Its a workaround, not a solution.
Hello @johnrafael, very sorry for the delay in replying and thank you for your post
If the app is updated to the latest version (2.18.1 as of this post), then removing the Google provider and adding it back up via right-clicking the “PROVIDERS” section title and selecting “Import Google fonts” should do the trick.
Before trying this, however, please be aware that this will reset the activation status of fonts in the Google provider.
Thank you again,
Yuriy
