What actions caused the issue:
I was trying to add a new font and I noticed that it said Access expired in the top left corner. I have a forever license, so I’m not sure why my access has expired. To make matters worse, under settings I can no longer import or export collections or auto-activate missing fonts like I did in the past. I had auto-update turned off, so I’m not sure how this functionality got disabled. There’s a message that says "Advanced (only available in FontBase Awesome). So, you’re removing functionality that had been working when I purchased my forever license back in 2022 and you want me to pay for another subscription or forever license to get that same functionality back? That seems a little dishonest to me. What is going on here? I understand not getting access to brand new functionality that’s exclusively part of the FontBase Awesome package, but to remove old basic functionality like this for customers that thought buying a forever license meant the software would continue to function the way it did when we first purchased the license is pretty bad if it was done on purpose. If it’s just some bug please let me know how to fix it. Thanks. -
