I use the Syncthing application to sync my “Fonts” folder across all my devices. Internally, this app uses the hidden .stfolder folder, which is automatically created at the root of shared folders. I see two options: either have FontBase ignore hidden files and folders, or allow the menu to “stop following” that folder—since the “Delete” option removes it from the system entirely, and it is a mandatory file for Syncthing to work (otherwise, synchronization pauses for safety reasons).
