Hi, new user trying out FontBase, a bit confused by its functionality. Is it only for installing new fonts? I have numerous fonts already installed in C:\Windows\Fonts that I’d like to browse/preview, I find both the builtin Windows tool and Photoshop to be insufficient. But I can’t seem to see the existing installed fonts, only new folders I add afterwards? Is there a way to do this? Thanks
Hey Cor,
I would suggest that you “Copy” the fonts from the Windows folder to a new folder outside of the Windows tree then uninstall all but the required fonts. I myself maintain a separate “watched” fonts archive folder tree on a second drive with all my fonts (over 6,000) neatly organized in sub folders. FontBase has proven to be very efficient in keeping all my fonts well organized!
