Change font not activating correctly

Windows 11 25H2
Fontbase 2.24.9

Change font, both the one available from Adobe Fonts, and installed locally as a TTF or OTF, will not activate correctly in InDesign 2024 or 2025.

The font shows up in the Fonts control panel as have 10 font faces, however in InDesign there are two entries, both say OTF, whether or not TTF or OTF is installed, with one entry having one font face and the other have six, a total of seven instead of ten.

Any idea what’s happening? I haven’t have the same issue on the Mac.

Thanks

Hello @magnavra, thank you for your post :folded_hands:
For now it looks like this might be caused by auto-activation (via plugins) of the fonts available in FontBase.
Is it possible that within the same document you have both the system-installed and FontBase-activated font versions in use? Using only one of them, not both, if possible could be a way to resolve the issue.

Thank you again,

got resolved? or not?

I do not have two sets of the font installed. I only have the font installed through Fontbase.

The issue has not been solved.

Thank you for the clarification and the quick reply @magnavra :folded_hands:
In FontBase, are you activating a single font or an entire font family in this case?

Thank you again,

The entire family. I have my fonts as a watched folder in Dropbox and each font family in folders.

Thank you :folded_hands:
Are these fonts grouped correctly when you open the family in FontBase, or does it show two separate families as well?

Thank you again,

It shows two separate, just like the image I originally uploaded.
