Font not activating M1

I JUST purchased fontbase (my fault for not thoroughly testing) and now it seems like fonts I put into fontbase don’t activate in After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. I see this was supposed to be fixed in an update but I’m on the latest version - 2.18.1 - and it’s not working

As you can see - the Montserrat Medium is activated in Fontbase, but it DOES NOT appear in After Effects.

Please include the flowing when reporting a bug:

  • Your operating system: Ventura
  • Operating system version: 13.2.1 (22D68)
  • FontBase version 2.18.1
  • What actions caused the issue: I’ve tried to import a font and activate it
  • If possible, attach a screenshot -

Hello @taradacktyl, thank you for the post and welcome to the forum
A separate thank you for the full details and screenshots.
As far as I know FontBase does not support auto-activation for After Effects. Were you lead to believe otherwise?
Thank you again,

seems puzzling to mention/question “auto activation” as taradacktyl’s initial question is regarding a font “already activated” in the system directly through Fontbase.

I noticed this post because I also use “Montserrat” with one of my clients and while I cannot speak to “auto activation” I can confirm that the font is working fine in all of my Adobe apps on Windows 10.
