Font Not Displaying Properly

Behavior: Some fonts render with boxes only. These fonts have the a full character set and render just fine in other programs such as Windows Font Viewer, FontForge, etc. A screenshot is attached that shows Windows Font Installer beside FontBase. The font I am demonstrating is called Karasha.

Honestly, I am shocked this has been a continual issue. This is not the first time this has happened to me, but I am finally fed up enough to report it as subsequent releases of FontBase have failed to address this problem.

Hello @WrinkleRelease, thank you for the post and welcome to the forum :pray:
Unfortunately this does happen sometimes depending on how font designers have chosen to code the information inside the respective font files. We are still looking for ways to improve upon this, but alas, the definitive solution is still eluding us for now despite the efforts :pensive:
