FontBase does not display all my fonts

I have many non-installed fonts stored on an external SSD drive. Some display in FontBase, some do not. In this case, the Beaumont font shows in dp4 Font Viewer, but not in FontBase. Why please?
Please include the flowing when reporting a bug:

  • Your operating system - Windows 11
  • Operating system version - 23H2
  • FontBase version - FontBase: 2026.4.6, Client: 1b3f83cd-3a73-4ace-8306-c632cf6d41cb
  • What actions caused the issue - N/A
  • If possible, attach a screenshot - I cannot upload a screenshot, so I have emailed it instead.

Do the fonts in question have .otf or .ttf file extensions?
