Fontbase is using excessive amounts of network trafic

I’m on Windows 11.

Fontbase is number three in the list of apps using network traffic on my system. Last month only it used 20.8 Gb of network traffic. This seems like a lot for an app of this kind?

I have the same issue here, it’s using 4-5 Mbs while the machine is idle

Bumping this Question

I’ve been using front base for a very long time, but I’ve recently installed a pi-hole on my network and I was wondering if this amount of traffic for font base was considered normal this is after two days of activity.

I had 2136 hits to/from “api.fontba.se” in only 2 days.

This seems wildly excessive - Happy to share further information on request
