I updated the program via the green box and AGAIN lost all my fonts

I already asked if I was the only one who experienced losing all my fonts in my fontbase folder after an update (find the post here) and I JUST updated the program via the green box link and it literally deleted my entire font folder AGAIN. I had recovered 180 fonts, and now I’m back to 0. I’m so angry that this keeps happening and I am literally repeating work which costs me money in time spent. I’m ready to stop using the program.

Please include the flowing when reporting a bug:

  • Your operating system MS windows
  • Operating system version 11
  • FontBase version whatever the brand new one is…
  • What actions caused the issue - using the green box link to update the program
  • If possible, attach a screenshot (it won’t upload, but it only shows that there is no folder but there is also no evidence it even existed

If you can, please check the following:

  • Turn on showing hidden folders/files on your computer and check the FontBase root folder again if you see anything inside;
  • Check your trach/recycle bin for the deleted files;
  • Check if you have multiple users on your system, maybe the app was originally installed under a different user;
