Is there something I need to do to make FontBase update a folder with new fonts?

Hi,
I have a folder with fonts I have downloaded and imported into FontBase. Today I added another font to that folder, but it does not appear under “FOLDERS” in FontBase.

I was using an outdated version of FontBase and updated to the latest release (2.23.1), but the new font still will not show up.

Do I need to trigger something to make FontBase update the folder, or should new fonts appear automatically? The programme seems simple enough, and I do not remember having this problem before. It used to just load any fonts I put in.

Hi, thank you for your response.
I don’t understand the difference between ‘Folder’ and ‘Watched folder’ but I suppose that’s clear out there somewhere else. In any case, I “deleted” my fonts folder and added it as a watched folder instead, and now the new fonts appear.
