Must the FontBase window remain open in order for the fonts to work?

I just installed FontBase, and begrudgingly paid for the upgrade, today. I noticed that after I activated my project’s fonts I and closed (not quit) the FontBase app, the fonts would no longer show up in my Adobe Xd file. I would have to keep the FontBase modal window open in order for the fonts to work.

Is this normal for FontBase? If so, I want my money back.

Please advise.

Hello @rthaemert, thank you for your post and welcome to the forum :pray:
The option you might be looking for is “Hide to tray on close” in the App behavior section of the Settings page. Without it turned on the app will quit whenever you try to close it, yes.
