The update should be up next month, at least that’s the current plan.

Is there any information on when the Fontbase plugin will be updated for Adobe CC 2026?
It’s been a week since the new Creative Cloud release, and font auto-activation still isn’t working.
Same story every year. Adobe updates, and Fontbase gets left behind.
Hard to justify paying a subscription when a core feature stops working for weeks.

As of now we’re still waiting for Adobe to update their SDK’s. Until this happens, updating current or building plugins for the new CC app version is not possible, unfortunately

Got it. Just a note – the Typefitter plugin was updated for InDesign 2026 quite a while ago, so it’s clearly possible.
Hopefully Fontbase won’t be far behind.

It’s been nearly 3 weeks since the InDesign 2026 release. Other plugins got updated within days.
What’s taking so long?
I’ve now suspended my Fontbase subscription. I can’t wait this long for core features to work properly.

The new plugins should ship with the upcoming FontBase update as I was told over the weekend.
I completely understand your frustration, I really do. Unfortunately we cannot prioritise every part of the app simultaneously when working on new additions/updating the existing features, hence the delay. If this is a make or break feature for you, then your decision definitely sounds reasonable.
