When you decide to go creative with system permissions remember that we’re going through a period when scam and spoof are a real worldwide threat. Ok, it was clever I’ll give you that, also funny. But I hope a lot of people didn’t have heart attacks. I made that image, it’s not the actual prompt but was the reaction that caused

In my case (LinuxMint 22.1 & LinuxMint LMDE6) there was not a warning during update to 2.22.67, but I freaked out when I saw the result in my taskbar. It took me a while to recognise it:
When I checked website and forum, I didn’t see it repeated anywhere.
Was this the actual meaning or did something go wrong one spot or another?
Everything works as expected, but weird it is.
Suggestion: update notes, however small the update itself may be.

Hi! It did incude Massive Font size and a Thunder Icon, but I don’t have the screenshot, it happend fast.

This is extremely odd, we did not add any thunder icons as far as I know.
Could you please post a screenshot of how your main FontBase window looks?
Would you happen to remember where you downloaded it exactly?

Yeah for me was on Windows 11, it requires permisson so the installer can work.
There’s the image, the update went through I downloaded it from the site directly, but I make the updates by only relaunching the App as usual. I did nothing different. And the UI seems solid as always was.
Wait what? I got no prompt at all and I’m waiting on the fix for glyphs not rendering in FontBase…are you on macOS?

Which FontBase version are you using? The glyphs fix should be there as of v2.22.67.

Version 2.22.48 (2.22.48) for macOS
I don’t see a path to update, I never restart so I will try that and see if it checks for updates.

It took 2 restarts but the update button appeared and I am now on version 2.22.67 (no update button in the menu right now) and the glyphs are bow showing when I click on the expander. Thank you
