Watched folder reset after reboot

Hi

Every morning when started my mac Fontbase´s watched folder is empty.
I can see watched folder name but there is nothing in inside.
I have to assign watched folder again, every morning. Then it works fine until reboot.
What I have to do to keep it always on?

  • OSX 26.4
  • FontBase 2026.3.0 (issue came since few updates ago)
  • Cause: Restarting mac. Every morning
  • If possible, attach a screenshot

Hello @pmauk0nen, thank you for your post :folded_hands:
Is the watched folder in question located on a local or a network drive?

Thank you,

Hi
Watched folder is on local drive

Hello @pmauk0nen, thank you for the quick reply :folded_hands:
That’s very odd and definitely not supposed to happen. Could you please describe what exactly do you mean by “assign watched folder”?

Thank you again,

Sorry about confusing sentence. I have to MANUALLY ADD watched folder again, every morning.

Any good news and fix for this issue?

Hello @pmauk0nen, very sorry for the delay with updates on this one
Unfortunately still trying to understand what is going on in this case. Does this happen with any watched folder or just a specific one?

Thank you,

I have one (1) local watched folder. On one hard drive where osx is.
I tested once that I rebuilded completely my watched folder in FontBase.
It didn´t fix the issue.

Deactivation is off on preferences, so next time you start mac there should be activation still ON.
But only what I see is my watched folder is still named, but all fonts disappeared from there.
So I have to manually set it by pressing +Add button and pick up watched folder again and tell where folder locating.
Then everything is ok until next day.

We have Fontbase awesome license.
Issue has been around 3-4 months now. Any OSX or Fontbase updates didn´t fix this)
