Watched Folders do not work in windows 10

Just setup FontBase as a paid user and tried to add a watched folder that is on a local drive and it did not work. I also tried to reference a folder on my C drive and that did not work. Please advise. I can supply a video if you need one.

Hello @SLyon thank you for your post and welcome to the forum :folded_hands:

Could you please DM me the video (as a Google drive link perhaps?) so we can figure this one out quicker?

Thank you again,

Can’t do that but if you give me a email address I can send it to you. File is only 1.1K. It shows me inside of FontBase clicking on the Add → Watched Folder → Creating the folder selecting it then seeing that it does not appear under folders. I did try this a couple of different ways as well.

Best

Steve

Thank you for the quick reply @SLyon :folded_hands:

Does the folder you’ve tried adding contain any font files supported by FontBase?

Thank you again,

This is on an internal HDD drive on my computer although I have tried it on one of my USB SSD drives.

The directory (D:\Temp\New folder\).

Here is a full listing of the folder.

D:\Temp\New folder\ARIAL-BLACK.TTF
D:\Temp\New folder\ARIAL-BOLDITALICMT.TTF
D:\Temp\New folder\ARIAL-BOLDMT.TTF
D:\Temp\New folder\ARIAL-ITALICMT.TTF

I wanted to keep it simple to make sure I was not doing something wrong.
