Unfortunately the Affinity plugin situation is still as it was described in this post:
Affinity still hasn’t gotten back to us regarding the possibility of implementing a FontBase plugin, so I’m sorry to say there is no definitive deadline as to when Affinity plugin will be available and the ball is in Affinity’s court
