I have searched everywhere for the InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator 2026 plug-ins for FontBase and cannot find them. I bought a lifetime subscription in 2023 if that matters. Help!
Have you updated to the latest version? 2.24.9 has the 2026 plugins.
No, but I did now. There was no plug-in for Illustrator 2026, however.
Hello Timothy, thank you for your post and welcome back ![]()
Will try to resolve this as soon as I can. What happens when you navigate to the Settings page and try to manually point the InDesign 2026 plug-in path to the Plug-Ins folder inside you InDesign 2026 installation location?
Thank you again,
Hi Yuriy, the Settings page points correctly to InDesign and Photoshop. Both programs launch with no problems and the fonts auto-activate. However, the current version of FontBase I downloaded for the Mac (I use Tahoe 26.2 OS) is missing the Illustrator plug-in.
Hello Timothy, thank you for the quick reply ![]()
Apologies, I meant Illustrator 2026, not InDesign, my mistake.
Thank you again,
Will an Illustrator 2026 plug-in be pushed out soon? I’m using FontBase 2.24.9. Thanks, Tim
The Illustrator 2026 plugin is in the app as of 2.24.9, the situation you’re describing is definitely out of the ordinary.
Is it missing in the list of plugins in the Settings page?
Yes, it’s missing in the plug-in list.

Would it be possible to attach a screenshot of the entire list here? It might really help in understanding what is going on, as this definitely shouldn’t happen normally.
Thank you again,
Hi Yuriy,
Screenshot is attached. Note the line for Illustrator 2026 M1 has no plug-in showing. My MacBook Pro Max is an M4 with 1TB SDD with 48GB RAM. Thanks for all you do to make this font manager awesome, Tim
Hello Tim, thank you for the screenshot and the quick reply, and sorry this is taking so long to figure out ![]()
Have you had any luck clicking “Change…” at the end of the Illustrator 2026 M1 line, then selecting the Plug-Ins folder inside your currently installed Illustrator 2026 directory?
Thank you again,
There is nothing inside the Plug-ins folder. I guess I should uninstall and reinstall? Or, can the plug-ins be posted somewhere or e-mailed to me?
Thank you for the prompt reply ![]()
DM’ed the plugin zip file, seemed liked the quickest way.
Thank you again,
