Windows blocking Fontbase

Fontbase version: 2026.05.23

Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with FontBase. Whenever I open the program, Windows Defender displays the following warning:

“Part of this app has been blocked. Some FontBase features may not work because we can’t verify the publisher of 0172df16-9bdb-4ef6-921a-673c17bb3c35.tmp.node, which the app attempted to load.”

Also, whenever I try to activate a font, I get an error saying that the font could not be activated.

I’m also unable to attach screenshots here on the forum. Whenever I try to upload an image, the following error appears:

“Sorry, there was an error uploading Captura de tela 2026-07-30 110052.png. Please try again.”

Have you perhaps already tried adding an exception to Windows Defender so that this situation wouldn’t occur?
