Certificate error during update on Windows

For our latest update, we were required to change the signing certificate for our Windows builds. This has caused the older FontBase versions to display an error during the update process. If you are experiencing this error, please download the latest update from our website directly and install it manually. You don’t need to uninstall the previous FontBase version — the new one will just override it and you will keep all your settings and data.

If you want to keep using the older version, you can turn off your internet connection temporarily, restart FontBase and disable automatic updates in Settings. This will prevent the future update attempts and you should not see the certificate error anymore.
