- MacOS Sonoma 14.1.1
- FontBase 2.19.1
- “Go to files” crashes Finder
Hello @theotherdominic, thank you for your post and welcome to the forum
Does this happen to every single font file in FontBase? Does this include the pre-loaded Google fonts?
Does this happen all the time, or occasionally?
Thank you again,

It’s pretty darn consistent. Google fonts and personal fonts.
Thank you for the quick reply @theotherdominic
Did this start happening at one point, or has it been like this from the very moment you first installed FontBase?
Is you Root folder located on a local, or some kind of network drive?
Does Finder give any kind of error message?
Thank you again,
Yuriy
Experiencing this too. Happened since the update to Sonoma. Worked perfectly before. It happens with every font I try. Google fonts and my own fonts. My own fonts are located on the primary SSD, so no network folders. Finder doesn’t give any errors. When clicking ‘go to file’ nothings seems to happen, and after clicking on the Finder in the dock, it crashes (not responding message). Hope this gets fixed! Thanks in advance.
Thank you for the additional information @Martijn
Did you re-install FontBase after upgrading your OS? If not, could you please try doing so? For now this looks like an OS-specific issue since the same FontBase version used to work fine previously.
Thank you again,
Yuriy
