I recently updated the install file and accidentally selected “all users” instead of my business one only and it literally deleted nearly 10k fonts I had collected. They were commercial use fonts, font bundles, years of collecting and now they are wiped from the drive. I’ve emailed back and forth with support and scanned every area of my laptop for the otf or ttf files and they are totally gone. All of them except the ones I installed directly to my laptop. All my client’s fonts will need to be sourced again.
Anyone else have this issue? Is this recoverable? I don’t have a recent backup because I back files up in other locations manually, and I’ve never had this issue with the program before, but as a paying client, I’m very upset at all the lost work
